The Highly successful 2001 production
Bye Bye Birdie revolves around a rock 'n' roll singing sensation, Conrad Birdie, whose character bears more than a passing resemblance to real-life heart-throb of that era, the one and only Elvis Aaron Presley. In fact, our story this evening starts with Conrad's manager receiving the call for our hero to go and serve 'Uncle Sam' right at the height of his career. Sound familiar? Well, I'll not give away any more of the plot but suffice to say there's lots of singing and dancing and a great deal of fun to be had by all.|
