Tin Pan Ali
Based on the story of Ali Baba and the 40
thieves, the story starts with Princess Scheherezade finishing her 1000th story,
much to the delight of the executioner who eagerly awaits the time when he can
chop off her head.

But this is no “Arabian Nights” setting. This is 1930’s Chicago, the Thieves are
the “Chicagorillas” whilst Ali Baba is a lowly street sweeper who happens to see
where the stolen goods are stored. He persuades the warehouse keeper “Sesame” to
let him in to help himself to the merchandise and ultimately become one of the
richest men in Chicago.

But all is not well as the leader of the Chicagorillas, ‘Oscar Haroon Al Carooni’
is set on vengeance and instructs his gang to find the street sweeper. What
follows is a hilarious mix up as half of the gang become street sweepers whilst
the other half assume the roles of waiters at a party thrown by Ali.

Find out what happens with the gangsters, Ali & the love of his life, Morgiana,
the family and of course, Sesame, a true delight for all the family.
